Having experienced the beauty of diverse cultures through her travels, she deeply appreciates our world and its natural wonders. However, as an African, she recognizes the importance of investing in the continent’s future. Returning to Africa as Miss Africa Congo presents an invaluable opportunity to leave a lasting impact.

Growing up as a refugee in a foreign land, Tity-Salem faced numerous challenges that have shaped her into the resilient woman she is today. These challenges, while limiting her initial aspirations, instilled in her a profound understanding of human resilience and the importance of kindness in the face of adversity. Her advocacy focuses on raising awareness about the struggles and, more importantly, the strength of refugees. She highlights the immense courage required to rebuild a life in a foreign country while maintaining hope for a brighter future for their families. Tity-Salem aims to advocate for policies that ensure the basic human rights, dignity, and safety of refugees, recognizing their inherent right to the same opportunities and protections afforded to all human beings.

The name “Salem” signifies an inward sense of wholeness and peace, a narrative of hope, beautiful beginnings, self-assurance, elegance, and unwavering faith. As Miss Africa Congo, Tity-Salem will embody this spirit, inspiring others with similar experiences to share their own stories. Through these shared narratives, hope will be nurtured, and an unquenchable thirst for human transformation will be ignited.
