ANGOLA, Kelsia Costa
I’m 23 years old and have an undergraduate degree in Business communication from University Gregório Semedo and a postgraduate in Digital Business from Universidade Lusíada de Angola. I’m a God loving young woman with dreams and ambitions of being an entrepreneur. I am compassionate and embrace challenges as milestones to a better end.
What makes you unique?
I am well rounded and able to take on any challenge. God gave me the gift to be strong and the ability to withstand any challenges, regardless of what they are.
What is your understanding of the theme “Africanism”?
It focuses on the unification of the continent in order to enhance the voice in an international context – we stand to achieve more when we are united. The theme has the purpose of unifying communities. For me, it means I can use this unification to help my country spread the gospel about its tourism industry.
What will you do with the prize money if you win?
If I win, I intend to open a tourism agency. This is my way to contribute to diversifying an economy that is currently heavily reliant on crude oil and petroleum related products. The country has a lot to offer from a tourism perspective but this has to be highlighted, it needs investment.
