GHANA, Dela Yawo Seade
I am a 21-year-old graduate of Alliance Française in Ghana where I Studied French. I speak fluent English, Ewe, Twi, Ga and a beginner in French, Hausa, Krobo, Fante, Krobo and Dagomba. I believe that women and young people are the drivers of economic development. I dream of a legacy where the world is a better place because of me.
What makes you unique?
A real queen is compassionate and I believe I have a great deal of Compassion for people and their progress.
What is your understanding of the theme “Africanism”?
If we Africans are able to embrace our culture, our way of life and work with what we have here and not think that all that is foreign is greater and superior to ours we will be able, with the kind of high moral values we have, conquer the world and put Africa on the map and erase the thought that “Africa is poor” because we have so much wealth.
What will you do with the prize money if you win?
If I should win this crown the very major project I will work on aside helping less privileged kids in our communities which is already like a lifestyle to me, is to promote made in Africa products, support women with the required skills through creating facilities that support production of rich African produce and creating a ready market for output, even if its to organize a fashion show or a trade fair strictly for that.
